What, where and who?

The Mid-North Coast School MTB Championships is a 2 day event held on the 23rd and 24th of September before the MGLTR club 6hr on the 25th. The event is located at the famous Kiwarrak MTB Trails.

XCO Entry

The first day of racing is XCO. XCO is a lap based competition with ages starting from u7 with categories every 2 years eg u9, u11 etc. The trail length and difficulty increases as the riders get older and race length and times are based on Auscycling requirements.

Funduro / GE Entry

The second day of racing involves gravity where riders will be timed over 3 trails. Rioders are allowed up to 5 attempts on each track and the fastest time of each track gets added together to give an overall time. There may be a “technical track” that will be an extra  stage ridden by the GE riders TBC.
Students are welcome from both primary and secondary schools and can be from Government, Catholic or Independent Schools.
The gravity event is open to riders of all ages so a designated slow track will be in action at all times to accommodate riders who want to take their time down the trails but still be involved with racing.
